Harvey is an independent investor based in Austin, Texas.

Previously, he directed investments for Project 23, a Texas-based family office, for over five years. He continues to support private businesses controlled by the family through his role as a member of and observer to various boards of directors. Additionally, he is the former Chairperson and continuing Board Member on the Giving Committee at the USIT Foundation.

Previously, he co-founded Nextvest, a deal-by-deal private equity platform and started his career in Dallas at Goldman Sachs in its Special Situations Group. He holds Plan II and Business Honors undergraduate degrees from The University of Texas at Austin where he co-founded the University Securities Investment Team (USIT).
